Two behind-the-scenes photos from the third season of the hit "Breaking Bad" spin-off series — "Better Call Saul" — have recently been spotted online.
Interestingly enough, it seems like fans will get to see Gene the Cinnabon manager (Bob Odenkirk) again, otherwise known as the lawyer Saul Goodman, whose legal birth name is James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill.
The new photos for "Better Call Saul" season 3 were first spotted on an exclusive report from Entertainment Weekly. The first of the two photos seems to suggest that a flash-forward in the narrative is to be expected where Odenkirk was seen sitting beside series co-creator Vince Gilligan while donning his Gene getup.
On the other hand, the second behind-the-scenes photo depicts a scene where Jimmy and his older brother Chuck McGill (Michael McKean) are talking in the latter's house. It somehow implies that Chuck is recovering from his illness since he looks pretty healthy judging by the photo, and he is also able to climb a ladder.
In the previous episodes of "Better Call Saul," Chuck claimed that he is suffering from electromagnetic hypersensitivity, which is why the walls in the second picture are covered in tin foil/reflective foil sheets. It is unclear, however, if Chuck is tearing down the cover or putting up more tin foil.
Unfortunately, the new photos released did not exactly have any kind of context behind them. It only had potential clues on what fans can possibly expect in "Better Call Saul" season 3. More details for the upcoming season should emerge in the coming weeks.
As for the characters they can expect to show up in season 3, past reports have revealed that Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) might make an appearance of some sort in the upcoming season. Some reports have suggested that "Better Call Saul" season 3 may show some of Mike Ehrmantraut's (Jonathan Banks) past, specifically the time when he started – or how he started – working for Fring.
"Better Call Saul" season 3 is expected to air sometime in February 2017.
