Three months after suffering a number of injuries following a freak accident in her home in Nashville, country singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood posted pictures of her with her 2-year-old son working out in their home gym.
Underwood took to Instagram and posted two photos of her in her exercise gear, doing squats with her son. One of the photos came with a caption, saying, "My boys make work outs fun (and a bit less productive, but that's ok)! #StayThePath." The other picture, on the other hand, showed her husband and son doing some hard work and breaking a sweat in their gym. Underwood is the wife of NHL player Mike Fisher.
Back in November, the 34-year-old singer and winner of "American Idol" Season 4 suffered a bad fall in her home. She sustained a broken wrist and injuries in the face, which required an extensive amount of stitches, FOX News reported. Last month, Underwood shared her thoughts in a blog post on New Year's Day regarding her freak accident.
"In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I'll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in," wrote Underwood.
Furthermore, she also posted on Instagram a photo of her X-ray, showing the metal brace that the doctors placed on her broken wrist. "Last check up on the old wrist this morning!! Thanks, Dr. Wurth and my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. 'Bulldog' for fixing me up!!! I'm good to go!" the singer captioned the image.
Meanwhile, DailyMail.com noted that Underwood did not look directly in front of the camera. Her decision is quite understandable, as she may not be ready to reveal to the public the changes that have taken place in regard to her surgery. In addition, Underwood also told her fans over the weekend that she "might look a bit different."
