Season 2 of Netflix's hit TV series, "Daredevil," saw the arrival of Marvel characters like Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Young). Their presence proved enough to be a challenge for the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox), but the situation has yet to become worse if this new casting rumor turns out to be true.

According to Movie News Guide, Daredevil might be facing off with one of his dreaded nemesis when the show returns to the airwaves sometime after "The Defenders." As stipulated by the media outlet, the highly-skilled expert marksman could be the perfect enemy for Matt Murdock to face in season 3. Sources indicate that Bullseye is expected to come out in the series.

In the live-action big screen adaptation of the same title, the character was played by actor Colin Farrell.

The character addition shouldn't come as a big surprise at all. In fact, Cox himself is quite expectant of the arrival of Bullseye in New York City's Hell's Kitchen.

In an interview with CINEMABLEND, the 33-year-old English actor expressed his desire to see the aforementioned supervillain.

"If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point," Cox said.

Aside from the baddie that he wants for his alter-ego to have a run in with, Cox also shared some details about Daredevil's upcoming stint with the New Yorker's heroes group, "The Defenders."

As explained by the actor, Daredevil's collaboration with Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones), will definitely change the blind attorney's perspective when it comes to fighting crime in the neighborhood.

"He [Daredevil] can't do this alone. And that's to say maybe some teamwork - He's actually going to relinquish [some responsibility]. So whatever lessons he learns in 'The Defenders' will then play into I think season three," Cox said.

As previously reported, "Daredevil" season 3 is slated to stream on Netflix in 2018.
