Blizzard Entertainment added another character to the growing roster of their hit multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game, "Heroes of the Storm," in the person of Probius.

According to his official profile page, Probius is tagged as a "curious probe" whose small size did not hamper him from achieving big things. "Since his activation, Probius has always wanted to prove himself. He may be small, but he made a big difference by warping in a critical pylon during the retaking of Aiur," said his character profile. "As the bravest of probes, Probius is eager to fulfill his purpose in the Nexus," the description further added.

The character page also showcased three different skins for the latest addition to the roster, alongside his ratings for damage (8/10), utility (4/10), survivability (4/10), and complexity (7/10). The new character also possesses Heroic Abilities like the Pylon Overcharge, which allows him to increase the size of the Pylon power fields, enabling them to attack opponents covered the range for 110 damage per second.

Another featured ability is the "Null Gate," which empowers Probius to project a negative energy barrier that lasts for four seconds towards a specific direction. The barrier, when touched by opponent, will inflict 64 damage per second and will slow down enemies by as much as 80 percent until contact is broken.

Furthermore, the character also comes with primary abilities like the Disruption Pulse, which is a burst of energy that yields a damage of 150, and the Warp Rift, which slows down nearby opponents by 20 percent for nine seconds before it explodes when it gets hit by a Disruption Pulse. Another primary ability is the Photon Cannon, which deals 95 damage per second, although it must be placed within a power field to work.

In addition, Dual Shockers also reported that a new patch will arrive soon, and it will include Party Frames, which is a new UI addition; the Killstreak flames, which is making a comeback, and The Kill Feed, which will notify players whenever takedowns happen.

Last month, Blizzard also added the freedom fighting DJ, Lucio, from the game "Overwatch" in the character roster, together with a patch that came with a new quest where players were encouraged to finish 15 matches with a friend while using a Warcraft hero to earn different rewards.
