One of the longest-running movie titles in the world, the "Jurassic World," is prepping up for the production of its sequel which is roughly about five months away. As expected, the upcoming "Jurassic World 2" will still feature the timeless "Jurassic Park," the recreational park set as a breeding place of dinosaurs. Even though the story will still revolve around its deadly trademark of rampaging dinosaurs, the film is still expected to showcase a new story of its own.
With the sequel nearing its production date, fans have been speculating that the sequel to the popular film will continue to keep them in their toes with an even scarier and more shocking theme.
A report from Screen Rant indicated that Colin Trevorrow, the writer and producer for "Jurassic World 2," revealed the underlying plot for the sequel. Trevorrow mentioned that the sequel will be about the horrors of animal abuse, represented by the harsh treatment of dinosaurs in the film. The mistreated dinosaurs are considered as a representative of the encounters experienced by today's animals.
A plot involving a new and dark theme will certainly provoke more emotions and provide "Jurassic World 2" with a much darker feel. Trevorrow also promised that the sequel will definitely be scarier than the previous film. With this, there is no doubt that "Jurassic World 2" is geared to fulfill the expectations of its fans.
According to a report from Scified, "Jurassic World 2" will be launched on June 22, 2018. Lead actors Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will still star in the film as Claire Dearing and Owen Grady, respectively. The sequel for the popular dinosaur movie will be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona who was also responsible for the movie "'The Impossible."
Fans and movie enthusiasts alike are expecting a lot from the supposedly darker and scarier version of the "Jurassic World." Hopefully, the sequel will also perform as well or even better that its predecessor.
