Many fans are now excited for the exclusive event of Apple this June, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016. One reason why it has generated a lot of interest from tech enthusiasts and Apple fans is the speculation that the much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 might be unveiled at the event.
Now it seems like the rumor might indeed be possible as Best Buy has recently gone through price cuts for the 2015 versions of Apple's MacBook Pro. Many believe that this could be an early indication that a new iteration is coming to the market or is close to its official unveiling.
Do take note though that this is just pure speculation and in no way official, and thus should be taken with a pinch of salt.
So far, the latest Macbook flagship that Apple has officially released is the Apple MacBook 2015. The Cupertino-based manufacturer was actually quite confident with this latest update due to its upgraded components.
"Customers are going to love this update to MacBook, with the latest processors, faster graphics, faster flash storage, longer battery life and a beautiful rose gold finish," Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Philip Schiller, said in a statement.
This latest addition to the Macbook line-up is currently running on the latest Intel sixth-generation chipset commonly known as Skylake. Previous reports have suggested that the MacBook Pro 2016 will sport an identical chipset model, which seems more likely to happen given that the MacBook 2016 already has it installed.
More reports about the upcoming Macbook Pro 2016 are expected to surface in the coming weeks. Fans also are advised to wait for an official announcement from Apple at the WWDC 2016 event, which will be held from June 13 to 17 in San Francisco.
