Many fans were quite eager to know about the current health status of "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien after news broke out about his accident earlier this year. Luckily, it seems like the actor has healed up quite nicely and has now started filming again.
However, the clip that recently emerged on the internet was for the upcoming movie "American Assassin" and not for the much-awaited film installment "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure."
The brief video — which was posted online by Daily Dylan O'Brien News on Twitter — showed the actor looking quite well on the set of the upcoming thriller film "American Assassin." This has been the first time he was seen outside since his accident on the set of "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" in March. O'Brien had to go through intensive care for a few months to recover from his injuries.
Because of what happened, production for the third film installment of "The Maze Runner" franchise had to go through an indefinite hiatus to allow its lead star to recover.
Now that he is back, a lot of fans are now starting to wonder when production for "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" would continue. Inquisitr revealed that filming for the third film will resume sometime in February 2017. However, "American Assassin" is not the only movie/series that O'Brien is currently committed to.
According to reports, the production of "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" has already spent a lot of money during O'Brien's accident, and the team behind it has talked to the people of "Teen Wolf" regarding the actor's commitment to the movie. Furthermore, the report stated that the actor might have to say goodbye to the series, which would then give him more time to focus on the third "Maze Runner" movie.
These rumors are still subject to confirmation, and it would be best to take this report with a tiny pinch of salt until the details are confirmed.
"Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" is now scheduled to be released in cinemas in January 2018, according to Deadline.
