"Road to Boruto" is the newest DLC for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," and fans are really looking forward because Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 has announced that it will be the last expansion for both "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" and the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja" franchise.
The "Road to Boruto" expansion from "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will roll out in less than a month, and new updates and details about it have been released.
Just last week, Bandai Namco launched an almost four-minute trailer about the upcoming DLC, showing fans what they should expect.
It is not surprising that the "Road to Boruto" DLC will have scenes taken out directly from the very successful, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Since "Road to Boruto" has taken much of their inspiration from the movie, it won't also come as a surprise that the new playable characters that will be added in the upcoming DLC will include the new generation of characters from the "Naruto" franchise.
These characters have been confirmed to be Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha's daughter, Sarada Uchiha; Orochimaru's son, Mitsuki; and Hinata Hyuga and Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto. The adult versions of Naruto and Sasuke were also confirmed to be playable characters in the "Road to Boruto" DLC.
Apart from new characters, the trailer also revealed that there will be three modes included in the upcoming DLC. The three modes are the Story Mode, the Adventure Mode, and an Online Mode. There is also the option of simply just watching "Boruto: Naruto the Movie."
The "Road to Boruto" DLC for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is scheduled to be released early next month, on Feb. 3, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Below is the gameplay trailer which features the new characters and their abilities that will be seen in the coming expansion.
