Production for "Outlander" season 3 is in full swing, and the best part is that the actors and producers themselves are the ones who have been giving the most recent updates with regards to what fans can expect in the coming season.
Just last week, "Outlander" executive producer and writer Matthew B. Roberts uploaded a part of the script of an upcoming episode. There are only several words seen clearly since everything else was blurred out, but what was shown definitely had the fans excited for the new season.
The two main words were "PRINT SHOP," while another couple of words could be easily read — "Jamie ENTERS."
A few days after Roberts uploaded the image, a fan asked the writer why "Jamie ENTERS" was in the script, seemingly concerned if the team had deviated from the book. The producer then chided the fan that they don't trust him.
In other Outlander news, the actresses who will play the Dunsany sisters has been announced. In an article by E! News, they reported that Hannah James and Tanya Reynolds have been cast to play Geneva Dunsany and Isobel Dunsany respectively.
Fans of Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" book series already know who the Dunsany sisters are, but the eldest, Geneva has been described as very beautiful yet also very stubborn and strong-willed. Being the eldest, Geneva normally gets whatever it is that she sets her mind on, but her naivety on life has also made her vulnerable.
The younger Isobel is a much more likable character, she is known to be friendly and warmhearted, but she is not seen as a stunning beauty as her sister.
Other actors joining "Outlander" season 3 are David Berry as Lord John William Grey, César Domboy as the older pickpocket Fergus, and Lauren Lyle as Laoghaire's (Nell Hudson) daughter, Marsali.
There is still no release date announced for "Outlander" season 3.
