Rockstar Games, the studio behind many popular gaming franchises, has just recently changed the color theme of its logo to a combination of red and black. Because of this sudden alteration, many fans now presume that it could have something to do with the highly rumored "Red Dead" franchise installment currently being referred to by the media as "Red Dead Redemption 2."
According to GameSpot, Rockstar Games recently changed their logo on their official website and social media accounts like on Facebook and Twitter, as well as Rockstar Newswire which the company uses to announce upcoming news.
One reason why fans think that this could be related to the "Red Dead Redemption 2" is the color that Rockstar Games used, which is pretty much all over the franchise like its loading screen.
It is, of course, unclear whether or not this is actually related to the next installment in the franchise — or better yet if it signifies the coming of the HD remastered version of "Red Dead Redemption" or the classic "Red Dead Revolver."
One thing is certain, though — the teasers for it are being released quite frequently. Rockstar Games has recently shared an image on its Twitter account of a seven silhouette figure walking in front of a sunset.
A lot of fans on the thread expressed excitement over the new teaser picture from the company; some were even asking if this is what they think it is, which is possibly related to "Red Dead Redemption 2."
The developer, unfortunately, has yet to release any official statement regarding the change of their logo and the teaser image that it posted. Furthermore, there is no official word yet on "Red Dead Redemption 2."
With all that in mind, fans are highly advised to take everything with a tiny pinch of salt and just wait for further news coming from Rockstar Games about the matter.
