With the latest trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" released during Easter, rumors and speculations concerning some of the key characters have swarmed the internet, and one of which may involve someone turning rogue.
According to a report by The Week, fans and observers have floated the possibility of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) turning to the Dark Side. Other critics, on the other hand, have also raised the idea of Luke training Rey (Daisy Ridley) on how to use the dark force. Moreover, the report also said that there are quarters who are suggesting that Luke may have turned into a "Grey Jedi," one who is capable of towing the line between the Force's light and dark sides.
The speculations were spurred by Luke's words toward the end of the trailer where he said that "it's time for the Jedi to end."
Meanwhile, actor Oscar Isaac, who played the role of X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron, shared in an interview with the Business Insider his experience in shooting an "intense" scene with the late Carrie Fisher playing the role of Princess Leia, who is now called General Leia in the new trilogy.
"It was basically my first day [on set] and we did about 25 takes total. Half of them were on me and half of them were on her," said Isaac. "I can't give anything away but there was a scene where there was some physicality there and it was shot just over and over and over. She relished the physicality of it, let me just say. It was pretty intense. It will be funny to see what they cut together based on that," he added.
A report from Screen Rant said that fans can expect more exposure from Fisher in the upcoming film, noting that Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, praised her performance in the film during the "Episode VIII" panel.
