In a little more than a month, the popular "Switched at Birth" will finally release their much-awaited fifth and final season.

Only a few days ago, Freeform released a promo for "Switched at Birth," and although fans have been happy that they saw most of the cast in the promo, not much about the coming season has been revealed.

The good news is that Entertainment Weekly was able to get ahold of a 44-second clip from the upcoming fifth season, which features Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc) and Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano) obviously waiting for someone.

The preview does not reveal who Bay was waiting for, but it was obvious that the young girl was very nervous, confused, and conflicted about the person that was arriving. It didn't help things that it seems like the person is also late.

There have been speculations circulating about the identity of Bay's guest. There are some who claim that the mysterious visitor is Emmett (Sean Berdy) who will try to rekindle things between them, despite having avoided her in the past after his betrayal.

Another man in Bay's life is Travis (Ryan Lane) who has previously informed the young woman of his feelings for her. Unfortunately, things were a bit complicated in Bay's life at that time, so she could not accept his feelings for her. Speculations suggest that maybe this time, things would blossom between the two.

In the season finale of "Switched at Birth" season 4, fans saw Bay and Daphne extending their visit in China, with the two spending almost a year in the country. Things would've continued on if Bay did not receive a mysterious call regarding an emergency that would prompt the two to head back home.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at 9 p.m. on Freeform.
