What will become of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in season 4 of The CW series "The Originals?" Who will help him defeat new powerful villains threatening everyone around him?
"The Originals" season 4 may see Klaus as one of the underdogs for the first time since the birth of the series. He has been in a pain-induced coma and no one is sure who will wake him up. Apparently, fans will also see him trying to escape the dungeon he was locked in for five years by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). But despite his predicaments, though, it seems like Marcel will become his best ally for season 4.
Reports say that Marcel will not be a villain in The CW series. Rumors are emerging that new villains, along with the other vampires and even witches, will threaten Klaus. One of them is rumored to have a vendetta on Klaus and will use that to harm him. This sadistic vampire will also try to get to the others, including Vincent. Seeing as a lot of centuries-old originals hates Klaus, it is plausible this one might happen.
As Klaus is the only one who can defeat these new villains, Marcel is said to be the one who will free him from his coma. "The Originals" season 3 saw Marcel actually looked remorseful as he looked at Klaus' body. Nonetheless, there is still no confirmation to this unlikely partnership.
Apart from Marcel, fans are also expecting Caroline (Candice Accola) to crossover from "The Vampire Diaries" to "The Originals" to save Klaus according to the ongoing rumors. Klaus and Caroline have a strong connection with each other and this time around, it may be Caroline's turn to save and help Klaus.
There are also rumors going on that "The Originals" season 4 will be airing on ABC instead of The CW. However, Inquisitr reported that there is no confirmation on this and that the series will still air on the CW. Nonetheless, season 4 may be its last. It is expected to return on Jan. 29, 2017.
