"The Vampire Diaries" will soon be back from their short hiatus, and it is not surprising that a lot of fans are excited about the next few episodes, especially since they will be the last ones of the series.
The upcoming episode 8 of "The Vampire Diaries" is titled "We Have History Together," and the new episode will introduce guest star Alexandra Chando as a young doctor named Tara. It is also said that the Salvatore brothers, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), will be testing Tara's morals as part of their commitment to Cade.
What has sparked the interest of fans, however, will not be seen in the coming episode, but in the next one. Recently, TVLine has released new photos for the coming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries," and one of the photos for episode 9, "The Simple Intimacy of the Near Touch" shows Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) going down the grand staircase in a blue dress that is very reminiscent Elena's (Nina Dobrev).
It is said that Sybil will again be taunting Damon, trying to replace Elena in the vampire's mind.
In other "The Vampire Diaries" news, Somerhalder has been very busy on his social media page, as he shared pictures of himself as he worked behind the scenes of the upcoming episode 8 of the series. The actor has revealed that episode 8 will be his last directing gig for "The Vampire Diaries," and the actor has been thanking the crew and the team for the opportunity.
It was also recently that "The Vampire Diaries" leads poked fun at each other on Twitter. Somerhalder posted an image of a painting of himself. He revealed that he will be giving the painting to his co-star, Wesley, claiming that the painting is so that the latter will not forget him.
When Wesley replied to the post with just one word, "hung," the actor jokingly replied with "Hung? You, me or the picture?"
The best part of the banter is Wesley's reply, claiming, "two out of three. pic still on floor."
"The Vampire Diaries" episode 8 will air on Friday, Jan. 13, 8 p.m. EDT, on The CW.
