In a little more than a month, "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" will be released so it is not surprising that there have been announcements and leaks being released left and right. The most recent announcement is the eight new Pokémon that will be in the much awaited game.

The eight new Pokémon are Silvally, Hakamo-o, Kommo-o, Ribombee, Steenee, Tsareena, Alolan Grimer, and Alolan Muk.

Silvally is a normal type and is evolved from type Null. Hakamo-o and Kommo-o are evolutions of the Jangmo-o and are dragon/fighting-type Pokémon. Ribombee is an evolution of Cutiefly and is a flying/fairy-type. Steenee and Tsareena are evolutions of Bounsweet and are grass-type Pokémon. Grimer and Muk are not new Pokémon, but the ones introduced are Alola forms of the well-known Pokémon. Grimer and Muk are poison/dark-type Pokémon.

As for leaked information regarding "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," Kotako just reported that it seems like some of the leaks on the much-awaited game just turned out to be true. Some details regarding "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" were released on the Smogon forum several months ago, and with the updates revealed regarding the newest Pokémon game, some of the leaks have been proven correct.

One of the main leaked information was the abolishment of the Pokémon gyms. There have been reports that in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," instead of gyms, there will be quests that will be given by so-called "trial captains."

Other challenges that the trainer will have to face are the "Kahunas." These Kahunas are also trainers that a player can challenge after defeating the trial captains.

Another leak comes from Heavy, which reported that in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," the evolutions of the starting Pokémon Powlet, Litten, and Popplio will be dependent on the version of the game that the player is using. Supposedly, the reason the upcoming games are named "Sun" and "Moon" is that there will be a different evolution during the day and another version at night.

"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 18 for the Nintendo 3DS.
