The Brown family from "Sister Wives" sure know how to keep surprising their fans as the most recent episode of the series proves exactly this.

Fans of "Sister Wives" didn't think the series could spring any more surprises, especially after Meri and Kody's divorce, Meri's catfishing scandal, and Mykelti's surprising engagement.

In the most recent episode of "Sister Wives," it was Mariah who had an announcement. The only child of Kody and Meri Brown gathered all her four moms, her father, and a grandparent claiming that she had something to tell them.

The wives and Kody were even joking amongst themselves as to what Mariah's announcement would be.

There were some who was thinking that Mariah would be admitting to having a boyfriend, getting engaged herself, with Christine even thinking that Mariah would be announcing that she'll be changing schools and going to UNLV instead since it was closer to home. Kody tried to give his own guess claiming that Mariah would be announcing that she'll be going to medical school.

Meri and Kody's only child seemed really nervous, but she doesn't beat about the bush with her announcement as she blurts out, "I'm gay!"

It was obvious that everyone in the room was blindsided by the announcement.

If there was one who was most surprised, it was her mother, Meri, who felt sad not because she was against her daughter's sexuality, as the sister wife admitted, "I thought I knew my daughter. I didn't."

Kody was somehow supportive, smiling at the announcement and clarified that it wasn't her homosexuality that he was happy about, but the fact that his daughter knew herself enough.

It still remains to be seen how the newest announcement from Mariah would change the already strained relationship that she has with her mother.

After the episode aired, Mariah took to her Twitter account to thank the fans for all the support that they have shown.

"Sister Wives" airs every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
