There are still a few grueling weeks left before "Switched at Birth" returns to Freeform for their fifth and final season, but the good news that is another short clip from the new season has been released.

A clip posted by Disney ABC Press showed Daphne (Katie Leclerc) coming back home from her extended trip to China, and she was immediately greeted by her excited friends. Her friends then told her the torturous semester they had with molecular biology, to which, Daphne revealed that she was actually in school to check out the subjects she can take for pre-med.

Unfortunately, she was immediately informed that all subjects have been maxed out, and the program was already closed for registration.

Even though she was obviously at a loss as to what she'll do next, Daphne told her friends that she'll think of something. Her friends had to leave, presumably because of class, but before they did, they promised to meet again to catch up with each other.

It is still not known what Daphne will be doing after she learned that the classes she wanted are not being offered.

It was also early on in December 2016 when Entertainment Weekly released another 45-second clip to tease the upcoming season of "Switched at Birth."

In the clip, Bay (Vanessa Marano) is seen anxiously waiting for someone while Daphne is trying to talk some sense into her. Daphne is seen trying to calm her down, informing Bay that she has nothing to worry about. The name of the mystery guy whose visit Bay was waiting for was never mentioned, prompting rumors as to who will be visiting Bay in China.

There were the obvious names like Emmett (Sean Berdy) and Travis (Ryan Lane), and it was also speculated that it could be someone completely new.

"Switched at Birth" will be releasing their fifth and final season to the small screens on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform.
