With Wrestlemania (WM) 34 just roughly over a month away, rumors surrounding its matches continue to swirl. The latest news, however, does not bode well for one of its staples that have been a tradition in recent years.

Earlier this week, Steve Carrier of Ringside News reported that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal may not be part of the annual spectacle dubbed as the "Super Bowl of professional wrestling." The news stemmed from Wrestling Observer Radio host Bryan Alvarez said during one of the show's segments that he had heard that the big match will not be part of Wrestlemania 34.

Interestingly, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been part of Wrestlemania over the last four years, a report from Inquisitr noted. The WWE, however, has not given any hints as to whether or not the big match will be discarded this year, nor did it mention any reason for doing so. In case the big match does not make it to the match card, a possible replacement may be a women's battle royal, the Inquisitr report added.

Meanwhile, Den of Geek listed down some of the confirmed matches and events that will take place before and during the Wrestlemania 34 proper. Prior to the event itself, there will be fan celebrations, an NXT event, a huge pre-show, and the annual Hall of Fame ceremony, which is slated on the Friday before Wrestlemania 34.

As for the matches, Andrade "Cien" Almas will defend his NXT title against Aleister Black, while Ember Moon will try to retain her NXT Women's Championship against challenger Shayna Baszler. The NXT Tag Team Championship, on the other hand, will pit defending champion The Undisputed Era against the eventual victors of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

The Universal Championship will be contested by Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, while the WWE Championship will pit reigning champion AJ Styles against 2018 Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura.

Other matches that could likely take place include the dream match between John Cena and The Undertaker; The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor; and Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Wrestlemania 34 happens on Sunday, April 8, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
